Each issue presents in-depth features on bands pushing the boundaries of sonic exploration, while our reviews provide comprehensive insights into the most provocative figures in metal music.

The app offers paid downloads that include one user-selected issue, whereas free downloads do not include a free issue unless specified otherwise. Users can make in-app purchases for the current issue and past issues. Subscriptions are also available through the application. A subscription will commence from the subsequent release date.

Subscription options:

1. 1 month: £2.99/US$3.99 (1 issue).
2. 6 months: £15.99/US$20.99 (6 issues).
3. 12 months: £29.99/US$39.99 (13 issues).

4 back issue bundle: £5.99/US$7.99.

The subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends; the renewal will be charged within 24 hours of the current period's conclusion at the current subscription rate. Auto-renewal can be turned off in Account Settings but not during an active subscription period. Payment is charged to an iTunes account upon purchase confirmation, and any unused free trial period will be forfeited upon subscription purchase.

In-app purchases of single-issue bundles are available; users can buy these bundles for reduced prices using purchased credits by selecting 'use credit' on the issue price.

Users have the option to register/login to a pocketmags account within the app, providing protection for their purchases in case of a lost device and enabling access to bought items across multiple platforms. Existing pocketmags users can retrieve their purchases by logging into their accounts.

We recommend initially loading the app in a Wi-Fi area for complete issue data retrieval. If the app fails to load beyond the splash page after installation or updates, deleting and reinstalling from the App Store is advised.
